everbright holds annual general meeting in hong kong

11 may 2012, hong kong – china everbright limited (“everbright”, hkse code: 165) today held its annual general meeting at the renaissance hong kong harbourview hotel. chairman mr. tang shuang-ning, vice chairman mr. zang qiu-tao, and ceo mr. chen shuang, as well as other board directors, attended the meeting. approximately 50 shareholders and shareholder representatives were also present.
at the meeting, the 2011 financial statements, the directors’ report and the independent auditor’s report were all approved. the distribution of the full year dividend was also approved, as was the re-appointment of mr. richard tang, mr. wang weimin and mr. seto gin chung as directors. after the meeting, mr. chen shuang, cfo mr. richard tang and cio mr. jiang yuan-zhi met with the media to answer questions about the prevailing economic trends and latest developments concerning everbright’s investment funds.
